Projects have a living character and high complexity. As of this it is important to focus on Solution orientation as difficulties, build requirements, stake holder decisions or market changes (to name a few) are inevitable and require attention as well as appropriate actions. Next in line comes the W which I assign to well planned. My career begun as a mechanical engineer, which gave me in depth knowledge and valued background:

• Years of experience in designing intralogistics systems ranging from small, medium to large projects but also in a variety of „open heart surgeries“ in live environments, green fields using a newly erected warehouse or brown sites working around established productions.
• Ability to create and improve Intralogistics Layouts on a variety of different systems: ACAD, Solid Edge, Solid Works, Navisworks.
• Big Picture Mentality, it’s not only about the conveyor, but the people working with it, the services around it and the timescale allowing the level of integration that’s needed.
• Experience with a variety of different systems used in Intralogistics, allowing to think of all needs and requirement for an end to end integration into the overall warehouse system.
• State of the Art know how and extensive expertise on hanging conveyors and it is realization.

I love to climb, which taught me two things: be agile and accurate. Attributes not only of good use for climbing but also when it comes to project execution. Agility is key to be able to execute projects successfully, specifically when considering today’s ever changing requirements and demands or fighting upcoming crisis such as the current global material shortage. However, Agility on its own without being met by Accuracy doesn’t add up and ends in pure actionism – doing things only for the sake of doing things. To prevent this, both need to be tightened closely together and balanced in a focused manner – key values I consider in every strategy.

Time can’t be stopped, won’t come back and is not re-gained, which makes it the most important and valuable resource in our life. As of this, it is absolutely inevitable to deal with it respectful and in a wise manner, as no project is complete without a schedule.
